On behalf of all the members of the Illinois Crisis Negotiators Association (ICNA), I want to welcome you to our website. In June of 1999 our association was formed by a handful of law enforcement officers representing local, county, state, and federal agencies determined to encourage and provide education, interaction, and networking between Crisis Negotiators in the State of Illinois.
Over the past decade our association has grown to include over 250 members from law enforcement, correctional, mental health, and criminal justice professionals dedicated to the safe and successful resolution when responding to a variety of crisis incidents.
